New Year, new beginnings… But same old cleaning?
We will help you to renew your cleaning routine so you don’t have to spend your entire day off cleaning your apartment or house. So you will be able to do it in more modern, green, efficient and beautiful way!
Organize, organize, organize.
Every year we acquire a lot of random things that we barely use in our everyday life. Thanksgiving and Christmas just passed and we got another pile of clothes, toys, devices and other random things that we didn’t return or intended to return but it never happened (lol). Without structured and regular organizing routine this pile would end up in closets, drawers, garage and attic. All that clutter makes your house look outdated, messy and dirty (remember those ideal images of interior on AD? They have zero clutter).
Start room by room, go to each room and clean the clutter periodically, sort and donate everything that you don’t use. After that, thinks twice before bringing anything to your place. And don’t forget to get rid of broken things.
Place small useful items that can be an eye sore into beautiful woven baskets and place them within reach. Clear your countertops of everything that is not needed on a daily basis and you will find that your place got a little bit more space.
Invent a system to keep your house clean weekly
Start your dishwasher every night and no excuses! You will be happy to find a clean dish in the morning and this will speed up your morning routine as well. Bring everything to it’s places and remember: dirty clothes goes to laundry basket and jackets go to your wardrobe.
Clean your entire place using following tips:
- keep all your cleaning supplies in a separate handy carry-on and don’t forget to wear gloves!
- go from top to bottom. In this case you won’t miss anything (even that a/c grill)
- pay attention to all surfaces, not only horizontal ones. Don’t forget about kitchen cabinets, fridge, dishwasher, etc…
Add plants to your place.
You don’t have to spend fortune to decorate your place, you just need additional plants. They can easily transform space and add a different style to your house.
Add color, re-decorate, transform or divide – you can do this and more with just plants!
